This great historic photo was sent to me by Mr. Mike Sikora.
He writes:
"I am attaching a photo of the CAR receiving the Airborne flag in 1969. You can see the Garrison church in the background. Note that the Canadian Forces green uniforms are absent. We were the last unit to receive them. I recall shooting rabbits and prairie chicken in this area. I also served with 1 PPCLI at Griesbach in 1967-68 when this was the PPCLI home station".
